Hava Pinhas-Cohen is a poet, literature and art lecturer, facilitator of poetry and prose writing workshops in Jerusalem. Editor of poetry books and art books. Founder of the magazine “Dimooy” for Jewish literature, art, and culture, and editor for twenty-two years, since 1989. Has founded, and is the artistic director of, the “Kissufim” Conference for Jewish writers and poets, which has been held four times so far. So far has had twelve books of poetry. A book of conversations about poetry and artwith the poet Israel Eliraz. Her poems have been translated into various anthologies in English, French, German, Dutch, Bulgarian, Spanish, Chinese, Serbo-Croatian, Hungarian and Turkish, Slovenian, Romanian, Italian. Her books were translated and published in English, Macedonian and Dutch. She edited and translated An Slovenian contemporary poetry anthology in Hebrew.
