Manas Ranjan Mahapatra

Manas Ranjan Mahapatra (India) is a writer, researcher and journalist. He works as an editor with National Book Trust of India and since 2001 he is heading its National Centre for Children’s Literature. He also worked as the director of information, public relation, art and culture of North Eastern Council in Shillong. He was a founder member and was in the Board of Advisers of Asian Festival of Children’s Contents, Vigyan Prasar and Moortidevi award selection Committee of Bharatiya Jnanpith. He has 4 books of poetry, an anthology, short stories and a novel, two books for children and over 50 translations to his credit. He also teaches Journalism in various universities in the Country as a visiting Professor.
