Munish Singh is Vice President Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Meghalaya a Novelist written Ei- Trilogy in Manipuri (an analysis and presentation has been done in the Trilogy by members of Sahitya Akademi in the function organised by Sahitya Akadami, New Delhi). He has researched on the Cultural Diversities of North East India as Musicologist with emphasis to the rare art forms of North East India and presented papers in many universities and organisation like Asiatic Society. An expert in fusion music; he was an artistic director and composed and choreograph ed fusion music between Indian classical & folk music of North East India which was presented before former Hon’ble President of India in 2013). He is working presently as Regional Director, ICCR, Shillong ( NER).
